Typography: Count Kinski Font

Count Kinski Font Sheet

“Count Kinski” is a font I designed from elements of the biohazard symbol. It was originally for a logo design I was doing for a hazardous materials transport company on 99designs, but it ended up looking very macabre. I decided to create the rest of the alphabet in Photoshop, not going the traditional routes of creation that use Illustrator or font software like Fontlab. I then downloaded a template from http://www.yourfonts.com/ and then modified the template in photshop by inserting my characters into the template. I then saved the document and uploaded it back at yourfonts and was given a .ttf and .otf file with my font in it. Very cool. Now I can say I’m a published typographer.
